Camera Shots Quiz
For our first project, we were asked to create a story in 15 shots with different angles. Each shot had to be labeled and carefully picked to help the audience to understand the story without using dialogue.
For my story, I decided to choose makeup products as my characters. The blush and bronzer were spies, and the setting spray and perfume were security guards. The spies were trying to sneak into a museum without being caught. At one point, blush got caught by the setting spray, but bronzer comes to the rescue and helps blush escape successfully.
I think I did a good job at making the story fun through my shot choice, For example, my close ups helped create tension, while my high and low angles created the guards to feel dominant compared to the spies. However, I need to improve on practicing different shots and angles so that the story can have a clearer and playful flow and also make the final shot more interesting to give the ending more impact and make suspense. My favorite shot is the long shot high angle of when the blush get caught because it makes the blush appear afraid and weak compared to the setting spray.
